The formula dries ultrafast and cleanup is easy with soap and water, saving time and effort. The spray feature enables application on hard-to-reach areas, such as indents or holes. Before and during use, the can must be shaken vigorously. After the mixing ball starts rattling, continue shaking for one minute. If the valve clogs, twist and pull off the spray tip, then rinse it in a solvent like mineral spirits.

Rust-Oleum's 250281 Diamond Spar Urethane features a protective ESC coating that lasts longer and requires less maintenance. The water-based formula dries quickly, has low odor, and can be cleaned up with water, offering convenience. It provides maximum protection for exterior doors, furniture, and boats, lasting twice as long as oil-based finishes. The satin finish gives a classic, natural look to the treated surfaces, which include exterior doors, furniture, and boats. As with the Varathane product, the can must be shaken vigorously before and during use, with one minute of shaking after the mixing ball starts rattling. If the valve clogs, the spray tip should be twisted, pulled off, and rinsed in a solvent like mineral spirits.
